Whichever of the 3 wholesale clubs one prefers is all based on individual taste. To me, I prefer BJ’s over Sam’s & Costco. Yes the BJ’s food court is pitiful when compared to Sam’s and Costco however I prefer BJ’s for their lesser foot traffic, their excellent & comparable meat selection to their other two competitors, and for their deli which Sam’s & Costco do not have. The one drawback I would say of BJ’s when compared to Costco is that their gasoline isn’t top tier. However they do have diesel (Sam’s & Costco don’t sell diesel for their Indianapolis locations).

Great prices! Aisles are big so you are not running into other people. They have a great selections. For sure worth the $20 I spent on the membership.

I shop here often and buy in bulk since I have a large family. I especially appreciate the savings on fuel. I have 4 instead of 5 stars because I have gotten bad fresh produce here on multiple occasions. I pay closer attention when buying my veggies.

I love shopping at BJ! The place is always clean and organized, never crowded, and open for longer hours which makes it super convenient. They have unique items I haven’t found anywhere else, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Every visit is a pleasant experience—I highly recommend it! This cake made this place. 2026

CONTAMINATED DOG FOOD Yesterday, we went to BJ’s and picked up the BJ’s house brand dog food. It’s the same type that we’ve been buying for months. When I loaded the bag into the cart, I noticed the bag was a little greasy but I didn’t think anything of it. We just assumed something had spilled. It’s a store after all! When we got home, we opened the bag and dumped it into our storage bin, with our remaining food. I didn’t think I would need to inspect the food first. Once we dump it into our bin, we notice that the food doesn’t look right. I grabbed a handful and it stuck to my hand. There was some kind of liquid contaminating the dog food. We went right back into the store, the woman at the Service Desk(her name started with “R” but I can’t remember it) was amazing. She returned the bag of food without any issue. Here’s where the “problem” arises. Due to the fact that the food cross contaminated our other food, we lost an extra 10lbs or so of dog food. The woman at the desk reached out to Justin, a manager, to see if there was something the store could do to comp us for the cross contaminated food. We didnt expect anything, we did not go in full Karen on it. Shit happens, w
